Thirty Four Years Of Togetherness

It will be very difficult after another generation in the family that i had not talked to my wife before marriage, I did see her one to whom my marriage proposal has been initiated and my parents are asking whether you have seen her. This is the story of some where in late 1978. When I was working with MICO(BOSCH), Nasik as planning engineer. I was sent photograph of her by my parents which I have presences even today in my personal album. I okay ed the proposal and there was no reason not to by.
So, we got married and the story I posted on 21st of May last Year in my blog. An ideal marriages number of year a couple of married need not be mentioned and in these day normally arrange marriages (even large section of the society today also) were supposed to be the ideal marriages, in which not only the two individuals get married but the two families come together. To be precisely we got married in the midnight of 20th May 1979 by English calender and five days after Akshay Tritiya by Hindu Calender by that today is ours thirty fourth marriage anniversary in last thirty four years of togetherness we are blessed with children like Rashmi and Rahul, grand daughters like Anannya and Lavanya.
There are always up and downs in life, at time bitterness in the relationships but I have experienced and practiced that can be avoided. Today I am running 59, my wife 55. We have come to a stage of contention any body would like to have, satisfaction from financial status anybody would like to have, social status anybody would envy. Of course the loneliness because of not living with children pinches but we are getting used to it and would like to write new story in my next blog on 21st May 2014

Today is Ganesh Chaturthi the first day of ten days long festival celebrated in our country,in my personal life this day brought about the best incidence in my life that is birth of my daughter Rahmi known by her nick name Geetu in our family. The year was 1980, we were living in Nashik those days , i was working with MICO [BOSCH] we came to know about Sunanda's  pregnancy some where in April  May that year and as any educated couple would do we contacted the most famous gynecologist of the city Vimal Khanapurkar [Bagaitkar] the progress was to the satisfaction of the doctor and in the first week of September it self she had predicted the child -birth within fort night there was an unexplained excitement within me about my first child , i canot tell about wife Sunanda as off now as it is long back story today. My employer were one of very few multinational companies working in the country and provided all supports to their officers,my boss Mr S.k Maitra had instructed to the HR department for immediate deployment of ambulance as we lived far away from the city, the episode started at  around mid -night of 12th September Sunanda started having problems

My Favorited Indoor Games

My brothers and college-mats know that i become chess champion of the Government College of Engineering and Technology, Raipur in the first year it self and continued the championship for two years till. I lost to Pramod Kalwal in the third year, suddenly this memory surfaced after reading the news of Vishwanath Ananda becoming the world, champion.
Apart from chess carrom was my favorited indoor game and in that also, i won for championship in the hostel and college in singles and runners up in doubles. After joining MICO  also arranged competition of both these indoor games and there i became chess champion of MICO, Nasik in 1977 and carrom champion.

33rd anniversary snap's

33rd Marriage Anniverssry

Yesterday we celebrated our 33rd marriage anniversary Rahul had arranged for a cake to be sent to our residence by instructing the staff and they did it promptly but poor fellows could not understand that the it was mine and Sunanda's 33rd marriage anniversary so the cake tag was having names of Rahul and Pragya, any way we could understand that there was nobody to take a snap of we cutting the cake so Sunanda's called Prachi   to do so from the neighborhood  that time i really felt the real loneliness, yesterday, it was so strange that not a single of my in laws in the city called up  for greetings reasons best known to them.
