Today is Ganesh Chaturthi the first day of ten days long festival celebrated in our country,in my personal life this day brought about the best incidence in my life that is birth of my daughter Rahmi known by her nick name Geetu in our family. The year was 1980, we were living in Nashik those days , i was working with MICO [BOSCH] we came to know about Sunanda's pregnancy some where in April May that year and as any educated couple would do we contacted the most famous gynecologist of the city Vimal Khanapurkar [Bagaitkar] the progress was to the satisfaction of the doctor and in the first week of September it self she had predicted the child -birth within fort night there was an unexplained excitement within me about my first child , i canot tell about wife Sunanda as off now as it is long back story today. My employer were one of very few multinational companies working in the country and provided all supports to their officers,my boss Mr S.k Maitra had instructed to the HR department for immediate deployment of ambulance as we lived far away from the city, the episode started at around mid -night of 12th September Sunanda started having problems

My Favorited Indoor Games
My brothers and college-mats know that i become chess champion of the Government College of Engineering and Technology, Raipur in the first year it self and continued the championship for two years till. I lost to Pramod Kalwal in the third year, suddenly this memory surfaced after reading the news of Vishwanath Ananda becoming the world, champion.
Apart from chess carrom was my favorited indoor game and in that also, i won for championship in the hostel and college in singles and runners up in doubles. After joining MICO also arranged competition of both these indoor games and there i became chess champion of MICO, Nasik in 1977 and carrom champion.

33rd Marriage Anniverssry
Yesterday we celebrated our 33rd marriage anniversary Rahul had arranged for a cake to be sent to our residence by instructing the staff and they did it promptly but poor fellows could not understand that the it was mine and Sunanda's 33rd marriage anniversary so the cake tag was having names of Rahul and Pragya, any way we could understand that there was nobody to take a snap of we cutting the cake so Sunanda's called Prachi to do so from the neighborhood that time i really felt the real loneliness, yesterday, it was so strange that not a single of my in laws in the city called up for greetings reasons best known to them.

Hemant’s Marriage And The Theft In The House
Hemant known as pappu in the whole family was married on this date 18th May Twenty Five years back. After seeing their wall photo on the FB, number of sweet and sour memories surfaced the sweetest is that the family got proper match in the form of Rashmi, daughter of renowned cricket lover and writer Suryaprakashjee , the sourness started two weeks before the marriage. Those were summer days as it happens in the month of May the whole family, me, my wife both children and my mother were sleeping on the terrace of our flat in the housing society of Jalgaon. As usual mother got up early in the morning and went to our flat at the first floor, she saw the front door wide open she shouted and raced to the terrace and said “Dilip Chori Hogai Dikhta Hai”. We were shocked all of us rust back to the flat. We could things spread all over me and my wife went to the bedroom the cupboard was wide open some clothes empty jewelry box were spread in the room, here and there, wife checked the locker of the cupboard the thieves did not leave even a pin of the gold out of approximately 400 grams we had they did not even leave the Toy Coin Bank of my son Rahul. My wife started checking about the valuable and addicting to the shock Gold approximately 400 grams and cash of twenty five thousand had gone. Silver lining to the story in, after the police formalities when willingly I came to the gas agency office within an hour I started receiving my friends from Lions Club friends in the business community friends from all talks of life who came to know the theft there was immunity on thing as they were all aware of my brothers forth coming marriage “Dilip Kisi Baat Ki Chinta Nahi Karna, Kisi Bhi Cheej Ki Jarurat Ho To Chinta Nahi Karna” Though I could manage the funds required for the marriage in the next 10 days but the love expressed by the friends on that day cannot be expressed today that is why it is said there is tremendous strength in the love and friendship.
Another silver lining, why silver lining attached to the incidence is that as we had no gold left for the marriage and no cash to buy the gold, I approached to local jwellers M/s Rajmal Lakhichand, the owner of that Mr. Ishwarlaljee Lalwani is known to me,he regards me as younger brother, I met him in his cabin in the showroom hesitantly asked him whether he could help me by a Mangalsutra on loan basis for a month time for payment and the generosity was so heart touching that he said “ Dilip Babu Kya Chhoti Baat Karte Ho Apko jo Chahiye Le Jaiye Paisa Ata Rahega” and then he asked the general manager by giving similar instructions later on with the help of the friends marriage ceremony manage case money went of very well, but the incidence is remembered because of friends love and support.
