My first visit to Jalgaon

After the visit of Shri Babulaljee, who lateron became my father-in-law, there was constant insistance and follow up from one Dr. Chandak for my visit to Jalgaon. Ultimately myself alongwith Devendra Mehta made plan to visit in the mid of August,1978. It was visit for two days where we were given warm welcome by this family at welcome good hospitality at the Choube House, polan peth and ofcourse the visit to Ajanta by the olive green Premier Padmini. I could guess that this was an indirect proposal made for marriage. The evening we reached Chaube house there were three girls serving us dinner, not formally introduced as it happened in these times in conservative Chaturbedi families while coming back from Jalgaon. I was in a dilema who was the girl proposed to me. The dilema was over when I received a letter from my parents at Rajnandgaon alongwith photograph of Sunanda.
